Rustington Convalescent Home, a beautiful Grade II listed building set in seven acres of gardens, is located on the Sussex coast with views overlooking the sea and sandy beach.

During your stay with us you will benefit from a combination of sea air, tranquil surroundings, top quality and friendly nursing care, and excellent food freshly prepared every day by our own chef. The Sussex coast enjoys a mild climate and we are open all year round.

Our aim will be to get you back on your feet and enjoying life to the full again as quickly as possible following a period of illness, an accident, or a stay in hospital.

We also provide peace of mind respite care in a friendly and supportive environment and treat all our guests with the same dignity and respect.

Top quality nursing care

Your nursing needs will be met by professionally qualified nursing staff – 24 hours a day if required – and a local doctor is on call day and night.

You are also welcome to take part in our programme of social events and activities as part of your recovery and recuperation.

A generous endowment from the Home’s founder, Sir Henry Harben, means that we can keep our fees affordable without compromising on the quality of care and services we provide.

We are registered with the Commission for Social Care which means we are regularly inspected to make sure we meet national standards. You can trust us to take exceptional care of you or your loved one.

Our highly experienced Home Manager will oversee every aspect of your stay with us, while the overall management of Rustington Convalescent Home is the responsibility of the Worshipful Company of Carpenters, a City of London Livery Company.

To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, we have a no-smoking policy inside the Home.
