Both men and women over the age of 18 can stay with us for rest, recuperation, convalescence or respite care.
- Do I have to have any connection with the Carpenters’ Company?
No.
- Can my family and friends visit while I am there?
Yes, they are always welcome at any time. We can also offer overnight accommodation to them if required (for a fee).
We offer both short and long-term bookings. However, please note that we are not a nursing home – our aim is to improve your health and fitness so you can leave us to live life to the full again!
A generous endowment from our founder, Sir Henry Harben, and a number of other legacies pay half of all our running costs. Thanks to this, we can offer top quality care and recuperation in warm and comfortable surroundings at an affordable price.
The cost is likely to be between £410 and £805 a week. You would need to pay extra for services such as aromatherapy, arts and crafts classes, and hairdressing.
